Comprehensive Obedience Training (On- and Off-Leash)

At Dogs By Andy K-9 Services, our foundation is professional obedience training that helps dogs become calm, confident, and responsive in everyday life. Families from throughout the Charlotte Metro area trust us because our training goes beyond teaching basic commands – it builds lasting communication and real-world reliability. Whether you’re raising a new puppy, improving everyday obedience, developing dependable on-leash and off-leash skills, or exploring advanced programs like Board & Train or Protection Dog Training, every program is customized to your dog’s personality, learning style, and your family’s goals. Through one-on-one instruction and practical training in real-world situations, we help owners gain the confidence and knowledge to continue their dog’s success long after formal training is complete

On-Leash Training (5 weeks): Weekly private lessons focused on leash manners and basic obedience.
On/Off-Leash Training (10 weeks): Extended course to establish reliable obedience off-leash.
Board-&-Train (In-Kennel, 3 weeks): Intensive stay-and-train program in our facility.

Each program includes the Dogs by Andy Family membership (lifetime support) and fully follows our proven curriculum. You will notice results such as a dog that sits quietly instead of jumping on guests, stays off furniture on command, and comes when called – giving you confidence everywhere you go.

Licensed Kennels & Boarding Facilities

Families from across the Charlotte Metro area choose Dogs By Andy K-9 Services because they know their dogs are training in a professional, purpose-built environment – not a temporary setup or converted backyard facility. Our spacious, climate-controlled kennel provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for dogs participating in our Board & Train and other kennel-based programs. Every dog receives fresh water, regular exercise, and attentive care from our experienced staff throughout their stay.

We also believe that trust begins with transparency. That’s why we welcome prospective clients to tour our facility, meet our team, and see firsthand where their dogs will train and stay. We encourage questions because we want every owner to feel confident and comfortable before choosing a training program. Seeing our facility in person gives families throughout the Charlotte Metro area peace of mind that their dogs are receiving professional care in a safe, well-maintained environment.
